its evident from my track record that im no good at updating these journal things. it jumps from april to august to february so as far as predictions go i guess the next one is due in september or something, guess il see how it goes

however that leads onto why i decided that now was a good time to post a new entry onto this thing. well, it all started when i was browsing da (as you do) and i came accross a piece by a new user, ~Constatinoplean . i faved an commented a really interesting piece that caught my eye:



from that point, we exchanged a few messages. it was so refreshing to see that sense of optimism about da that i think ive lost over the past year! and then i saw his journal entry:

i read it and it felt so good to know that i made someones day just by complemeting one of their pieces, something which i din't think some poeple do quite enough of!! its nice to see the effect it has on people in terms of motivation and confidence, and even nicer to see it reflect in their work which follows.

so here is to Constatinoplean, for bringing back some of the love
